First steps in Studio

In the top bar, use Import audio or Record. Turn off “Make editable notes” beside Import audio if you want original audio only. Double-click a note clip in the library to edit.
If something looks wrong: open /api/v1/health in a new tab.
Windows first run (recommended)

Skip this section if uploads and playback already work.
In the repo root, run setup once:
beginner_setup.bat
Then start Studio/API with:
beginner_launch.bat

In Studio: Import as notes, Record, or Import as audio; double-click a clip to edit.
Verify the backend: /api/v1/health — JSON shows checks (soundfont, ffmpeg, fluidsynth).
